Standard cable ties are a one-way job — once you tighten them, cutting is the only way off. Reusable cable ties solve that. Ours use a releasable locking head, so you can open, reposition, and reuse the same tie instead of cutting it off and grabbing a new one every time you need to adjust a bundle.
You'll see these called reusable cable ties, releasable cable ties, or unlockable cable ties — they're all the same mechanism, just different names for it.
| Size | Colour | Best For |

Unlike a standard tie, the locking head has a small release tab. Press or lift it, and the strap unlocks so you can loosen or fully remove the tie without cutting it — then tighten it back down or reuse it on a different bundle.
What's the difference between reusable and releasable cable ties? Nothing — "reusable" and "releasable" describe the same product. "Releasable" refers to the locking mechanism itself; "reusable" describes what that mechanism lets you do.
How do I release a cable tie without cutting it? Locate the small release tab on the locking head and press or lift it — this unlocks the strap so you can loosen or slide it free without cutting.
Are reusable cable ties as strong as standard cable ties? Yes — the release mechanism doesn't reduce holding strength. They're made from the same nylon66 material as our standard range.
Can reusable cable ties be reused indefinitely? They can be opened and reused many times, though like any cable tie, check the strap and locking head for wear before reusing on a load-bearing bundle.
